Development of Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19), using WHO data source on 12 March 2020
1. Global Situation
• Total global COVID-19 confirmation cases as of March 12, 2020 are 118,326 cases, 80,955 of which were reported from China (spread in 34 regions including Hong Kong SAR, Macau SAR, and Taipei), with 83.7% of confirmed cases from China originating from Hubei Province.
• Total deaths were 4,292 cases (CFR 3.6%), 3,162 of them were reported from China.
• Confirmation cases were reported in 113 countries outside China, as many as 37,371 cases with 1,130 deaths in 23 countries.
Other information:
1. The list of countries infected with COVID-19 may change every day following the development of data and information obtained in the WHO Situation Report.
2. Five countries report the first COVID-19 case, namely the countries / territories of Bolivia, Jamaica, Burkina Faso and DRC.
3. The case in Brunei Darussalam is a case of imports from Malaysia. The Burkina Faso case is a case of imports from France.
2. The situation of Indonesia
From 30 December 2019 to 12 March 2020 at 09.00 WIB, there were 862 people examined from 28 Provinces with the results of the examination of 811 negative people (188 crew members of the World Dream crew and 68 crew members of Diamond Princess), 34 positive confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 17 samples are still under examination.
Case 1 is a close contact of a Japanese citizen who is the 24th confirmation case in Malaysia. Cases 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, 12, 13, 20, 21, and 27 are included in a Cluster with case 1.
The sixth case is a crew member of the Diamond Princess Ship Crew. Case 7 is a citizen who has a history of travel to the United States and transit in Japan, and case 8 is a close contact from case 7.
Cases 14 and 19 have a history of travel to Malaysia. The 25th case is a foreigner visiting Indonesia, before in Indonesia the case was symptomatic and had a history of comorbidities. On March 11, 2020, the case died. Cases 28 to 34 are under further investigation.

In My opinion:
Corona virus is really very deadly. In global conditions, there have been many victims from the corona virus. And in Indonesia itself, with the number of deaths which is quite a lot it is a bad thing. That is tantamount to stating that the capacity of medicine in Indonesia is inadequate. And from that, Indonesia ranks second with the highest mortality.
